I use my practice as a way of recording of my time, place and journey, often using experience, data, maps and photos from my present environment and surroundings, translating them into procedural and intuitive works in visual forms of hand-woven weavings, paintings, prints, drawings and installations.

My practice has been largely influenced by the weaving medium, the process of creating an image, and learning about its relationship with binary. This led me to use binary and hex code from ASCII to generate ideas, colour palettes and find alternate binary systems to incorporate in my work. My other influences are mostly from mundane stories, combining unusual ideas, changing materials and my interest in colour, nature, people, and the process of making.
